After a long but smooth trip, we reached Ho Chi Min airport and ventured through security very smoothly. Our bags were ready, and so was our host, waiting for us at the super-busy arrival atrium right outside the main airport arrivals door. We immediately felt it: the warm but pleasently breezy air, the light, the flowers, and the noises of thousands of clacsons being used for a multitude of reasons by all kind of drivers. We tested our road-crossing skills right away, standing strong and never missing a movement of our host, agile and at ease in the messy traffic.

We got on the van, and left for the Delta.
